This session will help teachers take their next steps in SBG using tools from UNI’s June SBG conference. Whether you need to refine your proficiency scales, create leveled assessments, or figure out how to make reassessment work, this session will support you as you take SBG to the next level in your classroom.
I would like to introduce the program "Brilliant" to math and science teachers. This program allows students to learn at their own pace and to pick what they learn about. I used it this year with my students. It was a great thing for my students who finished work quickly.
The focus of this session will be the use of technology tools to administer formative assessments. We will offer some tools we have used in our own classrooms. Also, work time will be offered for everyone to create their own formative assessments for the upcoming school year.
